Camellia House at Shane's Castle has won a 'Highly Commended' IGS award.

At a ceremony on October 6th in the Irish Architectural Archive, Dublin, it was announced that the restoration of the Camellia House at Shane's Castle has won a 'Highly Commended' in the prestigious Irish Georgian Society's Architectural Conservation Awards.  The building, built to a design by John Nash in 1810-16, is the largest and finest pre-Victorian conservatory in Ireland.
